The Drumline (Battery & Front Ensemble) are key to the development of Marching Band. Our students are trained to read music, perform well, and march at the same time.
The audition schedule for drumline is as follows:
May 21-24 Drums Workshop/Auditions 4-6PM
Location: Yorba Linda H.S. Band room
Attire: Casual
What to bring: A copy of the pdf's attached, drum sticks, and drum pad.
The audition material needed is attached.
(work with a meternome and use all tempo/dynamic markings)
All student auditions will be video taped and include:
1 piece from the University of Arizona Book
1-piece from the Mallet Pack
1- sight reading piece provided at the audition
